Luxury estate agents
worth your trust.
The best luxury estate agents do more than open doors. They listen, they filter, and they tell you honestly what a home is like before you fly out to see it.
Search propertiesHigh end estate agents who know the streets and the owners can spare you a long search at the top of the Spanish market.
Tell us where you would like to live, the kind of home you picture, the space you need and your budget. Let the search follow your brief.
What high end estate agents should do
A good agent starts with questions, not listings. How will you use the home, and who will share it with you? The answers shape a shortlist far more than the number of bedrooms.
In the luxury segment the work goes well beyond the viewing. Expect at least this.
- A shortlist built around your brief, not around what needs to sell
- Candid reports, photographs and video of homes you cannot visit yet
- Real knowledge of access, light, noise and how each area feels through the seasons
- Calm, discreet negotiation on terms as well as price
- Close work with your own lawyer, surveyor and architect
Choosing a broker luxury buyers can trust
A name from an international network, or a small local specialist who has worked one valley for a generation: either can serve you well. What matters is how they work and whom they work for.
Ask before the first viewing.
- Do you act for the seller, or for me?
- Which areas do you know street by street?
- Which languages do you work in?
- Do you belong to a professional body, where one applies?
- How is your fee agreed, and will it be in writing?
Whose side is the agent on?
The agent who markets a home usually represents the owner. That is why some buyers turn to luxury brokers who act only on the buyer's side, searching on their behalf and negotiating at arm's length.
Local knowledge, from Marbella to the islands
Luxury real estate agents in Marbella know how each stretch of the Golden Mile differs from the next, and which corners of La Zagaleta or Sierra Blanca stay quiet in high summer. Detail like that rarely appears in a brochure.
East of Marbella, the coast and its hinterland offer different ways to live.
- Calahonda and Riviera del Sol: sea views on the Mijas coast, at a gentler pace
- Mijas Golf: fairways inland from the coast, below the Sierra de Mijas
- Coín: land, privacy and a living rural landscape in the hills behind the coast
The islands and the cities
On Lanzarote, agents who know the coast around Playa Blanca will tell you how one bay differs from the next. Mallorca, Ibiza, Barcelona and Madrid each move to their own rhythm.
You can explore homes for sale in Spain as a whole, or luxury developments if you want a new build finished to your taste.
Every good search
begins with the right place.
Questions,
answered.
Do luxury estate agents in Spain share their listings?
Some do, many do not. The finest homes often go to a small circle of known buyers, so a well-connected agent can reach houses that are never advertised.
Who pays the estate agent's fee?
It depends on the agreement, and rules differ between regions. The seller usually pays the agent who markets the home; a buyer's broker is paid by the buyer.
Should I work with several luxury brokers at once?
You can, especially across different regions. Tell each which homes you have already seen, so every introduction stays clear.
